Rape Information and Counseling Service (RICS) is a non for-profit agency

Which provides essential services to victims of sexual assault/sexual

abuse, and their families and friends. RICS places primary focus on

providing the therapeutic counseling, advocacy, and information and referral

services that promote the healing process needed by sexual assault victims

and their family and friends. It is also our mission to provide professional

training to the criminal justice system, medical community, and other

service providers and provide community education to promote an

environment of awareness and support. Services provided by RICS include

adult and child counseling, legal and medical advocacy, 24 hour telephone

crisis intervention and advocacy, community education, professional

training, and information and referral. Counseling services for adults is free

for the first 10 sessions, then it is on a sliding scale based on the

person’s income. All other services are at no cost.
